In this tutorial I will show you how to add new functions to the DSlider (jQuery content slider), created in a previous video. First we will clean up the javascript file, then add a timer that will automaticly animate after a specified time, and finally we’ll make it controllable by the left and right arrow keys

Minify Javascript and CSS with YUI Compressor

I’ve previously posted about minifying Javascript using a PHP port of Douglas Crockford’s JSMin Javascript minifier but learned today of the YUI Compressor which does an even better job of minifying by replacing local symbols with 1 letter symbol names and other optimizations. It is also able to compress CSS files.
